Lower taxes:
Let our families and businesses keep more of their hard earned money in their pockets to make it by in this economy. Lower taxes are the only way to improve the general quality of life for the people of the 42nd.
Illegal Immigration:
Illegal immigration costs the state $1.6 billion per year, attracts drugs to Maryland, and takes away jobs. As your Delegate, I will support legislation tough on illegal immigration to secure not only the economic prosperity of this state but also its safety. Maryland must end its status as a sanctuary state for illegal aliens.
Strong and business-friendly local economy:
Protect and support our livelihoods while creating more jobs. Maryland is now one of the most business unfriendly states in the union, with jobs and businesses fleeing every week over the border to Virginia. We must end the huge tax burdens we put on businesses so they are able to thrive and create jobs for our hardworking Marylanders, 275,000 of whom are out of work
Safe streets, schools and neighborhoods:
Tough penalties for repeat offenders. Keep drunk drivers off our streets and sexual predators away from our children. A general feeling of safety and comfort is one of the most important factors in building a happy and healthy community.
Health care:
Affordable health care options for our families and lower malpractice insurance costs for our doctors. We don’t need and can't afford socialized medicine to get there. We need to explore practical and workable solutions like tort reform and competition across state lines.
