| Born in Calif. to military parents, Dr. Gordon moved several times before attending Holy Cross College and Georgetown U. Medical School. He trained at the Washington Hospital Center, Johns Hopkins Hospital and Union Memorial Hospital. In Vietnam Dr. Gordon served with the U.S. Army Medical Corps and the First Cavalry Division. Dr. Jack Gordon has practiced Orthopedic Surgery for 35 yrs. Along the way he has been a teacher, a member of the VFW, the American Legion, The Vietnam Veterans of America and the Boards of the Essex Community College and the local Chamber of Commerce. He is the past President of the Maryland Orthopedic Association and serves on the legislative committee of the Medical and Surgical Faculty of Maryland. He supports the Tea Party Coalition and the Americans for Prosperity. He owned the Bayou Blues Cafe at the Avenue at White Marsh from 1998 until it closed in April of 2009 because of the recession. He has lived through the stress and pain of a business loss. |
